Caitlin Clark fans did not have a good time this year in the WNBA. That’s because only after 13 games, Clark suffered a groin injury that ended her season in the most heartbreaking manner. Trying to cope with the loss, the Fever signed Odyssey Sims for the rest of the season.
Now then, despite sitting out, the 2024 Rookie of the Year made sure that she was available to support her team. As she cheered with her full might from the sidelines, her entire fanbase was waiting for her to come back onto the court.
Unfortunately, while it did not happen then, Clark’s fans finally have some good news. In a recent statement, the 23-year-old star mentioned that she was back to being 100% fit.

Caitlin Clark Recovers Fully Ahead Of Team USA Camp
Speaking on a Zoom session recently, Clark detailed that she had a series of injuries bothering her. According to the Fever superstar, she suffered injuries to her left quad, left groin, right groin, and left ankle. Surely, this made things extremely difficult for her to script a comeback.
Thankfully for her, after a gruelling period of rehabilitation, the WNBA superstar is finally back at her 100% fitness. Reflecting on her time on the bench, Clark said, “I think the challenge for myself was just, it was one, and then it’s like a little better, but then it continued to compound and get worse and other things pop up. And then I had the ankle injury. So it feels nice to finally be back at 100%.”

Surely, the timing of her return to fitness is a boon. Clark will be joining the Team USA training camp to make her debut for the National Team. However, even before her arrival at the camp, Sue Bird is in awe of her team engagement.
Caitlin Clark Gets Words Of Acknowledgement From Sue Bird
Bird has been quite the WNBA superstar. But even she is in awe after looking at Clark’s demeanor this season. Despite sitting out due to injury, the 23-year-old Fever star did not miss a game where she was not shouting and cheering for her team from the sidelines.

And this left the managing director of the US Women’s National basketball team, Bird, utterly impressed. Reflecting on the matter, the WNBA legend said, “The first thing that came to mind, and this comes to the whole Indiana Fever, they did a great job engaging in their season…, thought what was most impressive was the way she stayed engaged… that speaks to her maturity.”
