During the offseason, even though Caitlin Clark is not playing any games, she is attending many events around Indiana and showing support for her favourite teams. She was even at the Butler Bulldogs facility ahead of boyfriend Connor McCaffery’s coaching debut. The star also stays actively in touch with other developments in the sports world and constantly shares her opinion on them.
Her teammate, Sophie Cunningham, is also passionate about sports, especially football (after basketball), and openly supports her favorite teams. But their recent post over the Chicago Bears’ game surprised many.

Caitlin Clark And Sophie Cunningham React To Chicago Bears’
After earning a playoff berth for the first time since 2019, the Chicago Bears received support from Candace Parker, Dwyane Wade, and many other celebrities. While the game created much hype, the team lived up to the same with their touchdown to force overtime.
With the Chicago Bears down by seven and roughly 25 seconds remaining, Chicago managed an improbable touchdown to force overtime. The play drew praise from Clark and Sophie Cunningham. CC wrote, “The Bears are insane.” While Cunningham reacted with “Chicago, what did I just watch???? Holy smokes” post.
The bears are insane 🤣🤣🤣

Interestingly, both players share a passion for football and support the Kansas City Chiefs. Though the forward wrote, ‘Chicago’, it could be mixed up with the Sky franchise, who in the WNBA are arch rivals of the Fever team (due to CC-AR5 rivalry). Sadly for the Bears, though, the team couldn’t repeat the magic in OT and lost the game.

While the Fever stars lauded the Chicago Bears’ performance in the NFL game, they remained devotees of the Indiana franchises, as CC wished the Indiana football team ahead of the final match.

The Fever guard’s connection with Indiana runs deep. The Indiana Hoosiers’ WR Elijah Sarratt just named his dog Caitlin Clark. Fans reacted to Elijah Sattatt’s act even though he claimed that they would be mad.
The 24-year-old star also didn’t respond to the interview or to the social media feeds about Sarratt’s explanation; she instead showed her support for the team, which will play in the College Football Playoff national championship game against the Miami Hurricanes.
Best of luck to @IndianaFootball we are all pulling for you !! Get it done 🙌🏻

Interestingly, the side is undefeated this season and a favourite in the championship game. And now has backing from Indiana’s favourite athlete.
