Defending champions. Team USA will start their World Cup qualifier campaign on March 111, facing Senegal in Puerto Rico. The champion side from the last edition will have new faces on the roster this time, as Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, and many other rookies will make their debut. Clark shared her excitement via her social media post as it was a real come true for the Fever star.
While her selection in Team USA will fulfill fans’ one wish to see the megastar back on the floor, they also have another wish, pending for a long time now: Clark’s signature shoe release. The player has recently updated on the same.

Caitlin Clark Teases Her Signature Shoe Release
Clark signed a deal with Nike when she was in her senior year at Iowa. Looking at her fame and game, fans expected to see her signature shoe late in her first season or early in her second season. But even after huge demand, there was no progress on the topic.
Recently, the playmaker provided an update, sharing a photo from the Fever photographer, Bri Lewerke. And wrote, “I guess I never confirmed what these were lollll. Don’t worry I have some super cool stuff coming this season too hehe.”

The star released the Kobe 6 variant during her off-season practice session as fans reacted to the pics showing love and still kept asking for the signature shoe release.

Analyst Predicts Stalled CBA Could Delay Caitlin Clark’s Shoe Release
WNBA Analyst Rachel DeMita had been a fan of CC from her Iowa days and rigorously covered most of her stories. While she is also awaiting the release of Clark’s signature shoes, she also feared the CBA delay would impact the release date.
On her YouTube Channel, she said, “It also has a lot of us wondering if Caitlin Clark’s shoe is still going to be released this spring if there’s not a WNBA season or if the WNBA season is stalled.”
Interestingly, when Clark visited Nike headquarters, everyone expected a major announcement. But the analyst added that Nike walked out of the Super Bowl ad, which is a bad sign for Nike fans awaiting some exciting news from the sneaker giant.
