It was yet another joyful outing for the Indiana Fever. After a five-game winning streak, the team faced two back-to-back defeats. And while the losses against the Sparks and Mercury hurt them, the Fever made sure they bounced back. But even after such a triumph, Caitlin Clark kept a surprisingly low profile.
Clark has played only 13 games this season. Suffering from a groin injury, CC has yet to receive an update on her return. Thankfully, Fever has ensured that her absence doesn’t cost them much. And despite the merry run, Clark is looking to proceed with caution.
Caitlin Clark Subdued As Fever Gets Better Of Sky
The Indiana Fever made a comeback in the best possible way against the Angel Reese-less Sky. With Clark sitting on the benches, they squared off against Chicago. With a spirited performance, the Fever won the game 92-70. Such a victory made the Fever stay put in fifth position on the table.
Naturally, all the Fever players were hyped up. Taking to social media, they expressed their emotions quite vividly. But when it came to Clark, there was a feeling of caution. Immediately after the victory, Clark took to her Instagram story and uploaded the results.
Surprisingly, there were no captions to follow up with. CC did not express any of her emotions as she kept a low profile. This might be because she wants her team to guarantee the playoffs first. But going by how well the team has been playing, Clark doesn’t need to worry.
Kelsey Mitchell and Lexie Hull were the top performers for the night. While Mitchell dropped 26 points, Hull chipped in with 17 points. Meanwhile, while nursing her groin injury, Clark recently addressed the toughest challenges with an honest confession.

Caitlin Clark Addresses Biggest Challenge Post-Injury
Caitlin Clark might have raised fans’ concerns kicking a soccer ball. But she is far from returning to action in the WNBA. With a lot of speculation going around, the Fever guard opened up about her challenges. She pointed out how hard she had worked in the pre-season. And then stop-starting her journey has left her frustrated.

“It’s just been so challenging being active, playing four games, and then not. And then not feeling the best and then frustrated of how hard I worked in the offseason and all I do is rehab and continue to do this process. … I think that’s been the hardest part, the stop-and-go of everything,” Caitlin Clark told Sue Bird (Via X/YoItsRosie).
Thus, it is evident that Clark is eager to return to action. However, when exactly that will happen is uncertain. Her fans will wait to see how fast she will take the court and continue on her merry way.
