The March Madness season is about to start, and just before the start of the college basketball extravaganza, Capital One collaborated with one of the iconic trio of the game – Magic Johnson, Charles Barkley and Caitlin Clark.
CC felt humbled being part of the AP’s All-Time Women’s College Basketball First Team, but with two icons of the game, the player was comfortable and confident in front of the camera. The 2026 narrative was built on the “Battle of the Blimps” theme, and as the behind-the-scenes video revealed, the WNBA player had fun on the set.

Caitlin Clark Teams Up With Magic Johnson And Charles Barkley
The NB’s duo are still connected to the league via different means. Johnson is part-owner of the LA Lakers team and also has shares in the LA Sparks side, while Barkley works as an analyst for TNT Sports. And they are quite familiar with the Fever guard, who put the WNBA to a whole new level. Academy Award-winning actor Samuel L. Jackson also joins the mix.
Talking about working with a trio of great individuals, Clark said, “This is my first time meeting all three of them,” she said. “So, obviously, people that I’ve seen on TV and admired and now getting to work with them, I would definitely say my first impression is they’re very funny, and they make it easy to work with. Very fun, too.”

Magic Johnson Comments On Caitlin Clark’s Personality
While Magic Johnson and Barkley are two Hall of Famers in Basketball, the former Iowa star is just starting her career and looking to make her mark in the WNBA. The cross-league connection felt different considering the achievements and aura of all three individuals.

But Magic Johnson highlighted one personality trait of the 24-year-old star, which made it easy to work with her. He said, “Caitlin has a great personality, too. She’s into it just as much as we’re into it. You can poke fun at her.”
The player is famous for her humor and fun attitude, but continuing with the same in front of established megastars certainly speaks volumes about her confidence.
