The return of Caitlin Clark has been quite a point of discussion among WNBA fans. In the offseason, Clark has been busy. She recently attended a high school game between Mt. Vermont and Pike. But all of this did not answer the big question. Following an incredible rookie season, Clark was supposed to be taking her game to the next level the previous year.
Unfortunately, things panned out in a very different manner. Owing to her injury, the Indiana Fever star could only play 13 regular-season games. Trying hard to come back and help her team, the injury was just too severe to go away. But now that she is fully fit, Clark will finally be coming back to the court. Surprisingly, this time she will not suit up in Fever’s colors.

When And Where Will Caitlin Clark Make Her Comeback?
No, the Indiana Fever have not traded Clark. While the WNBA is still some months away, the 23-year-old will be making her comeback to the court for Team USA. Set to make her senior national team debut, the hype around the 2024 Rookie of the Year is shooting through the roof.
In a recent Instagram post, USA Basketball confirmed Clark’s return by announcing her in their official squad. As per the reports, the WNBA star will be making her Team USA debut at the Women’s World Cup Qualifying Tournament in Puerto Rico. Set to begin on March 11, 2026, the tournament will end on March 17. Along with Clark, officials also mentioned names like Paige Bueckers, Sonia Citron, and others.

Meanwhile, as the WNBA realm is all excited for her return, Rachel DeMita recently stated how the CBA is affecting Clark’s latest shoe release.

Rachel DeMita Claims The CBA May Have Delayed Caitlin Clark’s Nike Drop

The CBA situation has turned quite volatile for the WNBA. As the WNBA and the WNBPA continue to fight over equal pay rights, no one has announced when they will draft a new CBA. Amid all this, Clark’s latest Nike shoes, which fans expected to drop soon, have also faced a delay. And DeMita feels that it might have to do with the CBA.
“It also has a lot of us wondering if Caitlin Clark’s shoe is still going to be released this spring if there’s not a WNBA season or if the WNBA season is stalled. But the latest update that we have with Caitlin Clark and her Nike shoes is a brand new Nike Kobe 6 colorway. So as you can see its the blue and yellow colorway, and Caitlin Clark, I believe, posted some of these on her Instagram page,” said DeMita.
Thus, with a lot going on, fans will be excited to see how Clark performs after such a long break.
