Jason Kelce’s ‘New Heights’ podcast actually reached new heights. Yes, there were massive views to its recent episode, and the reason for the same was his high-profile guests—Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. One of the viewers of the podcast was Indiana Fever’s guard Caitlin Clark.
She commented on her social media about the glitch and then proudly hyped up the Swifties for it. But the basketball faithful were not happy with CC’s distraction from the game and gave her an earful.
Fans Target Caitlin Clark Over Her Comments On Taylor Swift’s Podcast Episode
Singer, songwriter, and producer Taylor Swift is a popular name around the globe. Wherever she goes, she sets new records and gains a few more fans. Recently, she was on the ‘New Heights’ podcast with her boyfriend, NFL superstar Travis Kelce.
During the podcast, there was a glitch, the first time in the podcast’s history, after reaching the second hour. There was an official announcement on social media about the glitch, with fans waiting to get the streaming online again. The Fever guard was one of those in the waiting, supposedly, as she also tweeted about the glitch and later lauded the Swifties (Taylor Swift fans) for breaking viewership records.

The 2024 rookie has been out of action for 20 games now, and there is no sign of her return. Her tweet and attention to the podcast angered some fans, who thrashed the record-breaking rookie on ‘X’.
One fan advised her to “stick to basketball.”

Even though there were many negative comments on the former Iowa star’s post, there were also a few supportive ones, which helped to understand the CC and Swift’s friendship.
Special Bond Between Caitlin Clark and Taylor Swift
The superstar duo – one from the entertainment industry and one from sports- share a special bond off the work. In the 2025 offseason, the Fever guard attended the Kansas City Chiefs’ game with Swift. During the game, they had a great time, laughing and having fun together.
“I think what people don’t always realize about people with a certain spotlight, whether it’s her, whether it’s me, whether it’s another professional athlete or a pop star, we’re real people. We’re just having normal conversations as any other person in Arrowhead Stadium that night,” Clark told ESPN.
She also attended the Eras tour in Indiana and sat with Swift’s boyfriend, Kelce.
