Part of the credit for the WNBPA’s commercial demands goes to Caitlin Clark’s fanbase. The massive number that showed up at WNBA arenas, purchased merchandise, stayed online for the games, and kept social media buzzing about the WNBA. Though some analysts like Katie Nolan criticize the Clark fanbase, many highlight CC’s impact as the bigger factor in the WNBA’s current rise.

According to a recent update, Clark will make her NBC debut as a Sunday night basketball contributor in an upcoming broadcast role. She will be in New York covering the Lakers vs Knicks blockbuster match-up. Interestingly, the CBA discussions will be on Feb 2 in the same city.
