The growing physicality and missed calls are getting out of hand. And as this trend keeps on doing its thing, Caitlin Clark is not shying away from her outburst. During the Indiana Fever’s recent game against the Connecticut Sun, things really went out of control.
The game not only saw the drama budding around the hard court, but it was also Clark’s exit from the game that caught many eyeballs. The discomfort in the groin area is already giving Indiana fans serious injury woes, as it came just before the WNBA All-Star Game.
Caitlin Clark’s Furious Threat To Ref Caught On Camera
Even though the Fever got hold of the Sun, Clark left the court in the final minute due to an injury that looked worryingly similar to one she had last month against the Seattle Storm. But it wasn’t just her injury that caught everyone’s attention.
Earlier in the game, Clark had a pretty heated exchange with referee Michael Price. It all started in the third quarter, when the two shared some tense words. At first, it seemed like the moment had passed, but then something Price said seemed to ignite Clark’s frustration again.

She had to be held back and even walked up to him to say, “grow up.” However, things did not stop there. The Iowa star went on to make a gesture to call the referee over there. Following the heated faceoff, Clark finally dropped a rather bold message– “I will be calling the league on you.”
The drama escalated a little too fast as the camera guys were more than ready to capture the incident. Soon after the game was over, fans on social media kept on reeling over the not-seen-before side of CC.

Indiana Fever Updates Caitlin Clark’s Status After Groin Discomfort
While the on-court sequence got off, fan now have a better idea of whether Caitlin Clark will suit up for the next game or not. According to the latest update, Fever has currently listed her as questionable for the team’s upcoming game against the New York Liberty.
The reason for her listing is a right groin injury sustained during the final minute of the Fever-Sun game. This injury occurred as she executed a bounce pass, after which she was in visible distress. She soon clutched her injury and later banged her head in frustration against the stanchion before being consoled by teammates on the bench.

Fever head coach Stephanie White indicated that Clark would undergo further evaluation to assess her condition. Clark has faced multiple injuries throughout the season. And she has missed nine regular-season games along with one additional game in the Commissioner’s Cup final.
Despite these challenges, she has maintained impressive averages of 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and 5.0 rebounds. We would wait to see if she really bounces back from all of the discomfort and shines in the WNBA All-Star Game.
