The Indiana Fever fans had mixed feelings about the 2025 season. Although they were happy with the team’s performance, they missed Caitlin Clark on the floor, as the player sat out for a significant portion of the season due to multiple injuries.
In the offseason, Clark opted out of the Unrivaled’s second season, prioritizing her fitness and USA basketball. While this was great news for the Fever fans, they got to see her behind-the-scenes preparation in a video, not from the Indiana Fever but from Nike.
Fans React To Nike’s Behind-The-Scenes Video Of Caitlin Clark
The relation between the Sneaker giant and the 23-year-old guard dates back to 2024. The WNBA fans were expecting her signature shoes in her rookie season. However, Nike is taking it slow, ensuring that they make the perfect launch of CC’s shoes. Midway into her second season, Clark teased the new Nike logo. Fans loved the design and assumed that the shoe would be the next announcement.

In the 2025 offseason, Nike released a video featuring the Fever guard, but it was a behind-the-scenes clip highlighting her outfits and workouts, with Caitlin’s court as its caption. The two-time All-Star was seen stretching and lifting weights in the video, wearing Nike gear. The video went viral with over 25K likes in a few hours.
Still, the video received lots of love and praise from fans who saw CC getting better and fitter. Additionally, many fans expressed interest in the product, which will be available at DICK’s House of Sports, as shown in the video.

Stephanie White Updates On Caitlin Clark’s Recovery Plan
The Indiana Fever HC was hoping to get her star playmaker back on the floor for the playoffs, but it didn’t happen, which impacted the Fever’s game plan. Although they did well reaching the semifinals and stretching the eventual winners to Game 5 overtime, the Fever franchise is working hard on getting CC back for the 2026 season.
Amid her offseason workouts, the HC provided a plan and update for the 2024 Rookie of the Year winner. “We have the ability to right now take it on a week-by-week basis, doing some 3-on-3, doing some 2-on-2, building into 5-on-5. Her being able to play in game-like situations is going to be important. It’s been a long time building back into that, but it is October, and she needs to be able to slowly build back, so, from an endurance standpoint, she’s laying a really good foundation so she’s not having any setbacks or any regression,” said White.
Caitlin Clark in on track toward her goal of starting 5-on-5 by the end of October, Stephanie White says. She's building up toward it, starting with 2-on-2 and 3-on-3.
