The Indiana Fever won its fourth straight game, taking its record to 16-12. They moved up in fifth place in the league. This was the team’s first four-game winning run in 2025, and impressively, the side recorded all the wins without their rookie star, Caitlin Clark.
She is out injured but travels with the team, encouraging them, giving them insights, and supporting them from the sidelines. In Texas, the Fever guard came across the Olympic medal winner Jordan Chiles.
Fans React As Caitlin Clark Meets Jordan Chiles
The Indiana Fever dominated the game, keeping the defensive pressure on the explosive scoring Dallas side. While the 2024 Rookie of the Year Winner was on the sidelines loudly cheering her team, the home side had an Olympic medalist, Jordan Chiles, in their support.
Even though the gymnast was supporting the opposing team, the former Iowa star went ahead and took pictures with her after the game. The Fever shared the video on social media as fans showered their love on the two high-achieving female athletes.
Fans were thrilled to watch two stars in a same frame and showed their love. Some fans even point out the height difference between two stars.
A fan pointed out the height difference and cheekily mentioned, “Thank God it wasn’t Simone.”

Both stars have been at the top of their sports. The Times magazine awarded them a special place, with CC earning the Athlete of the Year accolade and Chiles named ‘Woman of the Year’.
Caitlin Clark’s Return Still Not In Sight
Fans till now, saw the Fever guard on the sidelines. She is energized, excited about the plays and looking ready to jump in. But there is no update yet on her return to the court. In every postgame interview, HC Stephanie white just puts the decision in the doctors’ hands, keeping the ‘suspense’ on the exact date.

She is even focusing more on the team depth and how the team achieved the wins. This is totally understandable and appreciated by the Fever fans. But CC’s fans want to know her availability.
The star missed six games in a row. As per some analysts, she could return in mid-August, considering the schedule and matchups ahead. The extended rest will allow her to recover completely and be ready for the postseason. The team is pushing hard to move up in the rankings for more favorable matchups and home-court advantage in the playoffs.
