With the revenue sharing back-and-forth still going strong, the WNBA’s future is looking in jeopardy. And while efforts are being made by both the WNBPA and the WNBA to sort things out, the situation does not look promising. However, as the WNBA struggles, rival leagues are capitalizing on the market and gaining some huge momentum. And one of the biggest examples is Unrivaled. With just its second season underway, the likes of Paige Bueckers and co. have made it a huge hit.
And now, as the second half of the league is all set to begin, the 23-year-old has a huge responsibility on her shoulders. What she could not do with the Dallas Wings, the 2025 Rookie of the Year has the chance to do the same with Breeze BC. Lead her team to a championship run.

Paige Bueckers Will Face Stiff Competition From Rose BC En Route To Championship
The Unrivaled playoffs begin on February 28. And before that, Breeze BC has to ensure it is in a favorable position in the league table. Now, to do this, the temperament of the players will be key. And as Bueckers was spotted calming the likes of Cameron Brink, it looks like the 23-year-old has it under control.
Having beaten the Vinyl BC with a 22-point outburst from Rickea Jackson, Breeze BC has officially qualified for the playoffs. But they would like to bypass playing the defending champions, the Rose BC, in the playoffs.

But in order to do that, the former UConn Huskies’ star needs to be in her finest form. While she is already running for the MVP award, all hopes rest on her at the moment. Thankfully, despite the challenging road ahead, her team has great faith in her.
Noelle Quinn Likes Paige Bueckers Leading By Example
Coaching for the Seattle Storm in the WNBA, Quinn did not have a chance to watch the 2025 NCAA champion closely. But now that she is with the Breeze BC, the veteran coach is amazed to see the hard work that Bueckers puts in day in and day out.
Reflecting on her time with the 2025 first overall draft pick, the Breeze BC head coach said, “It’s been an honor to coach her. The ability to draft her and build this team with her has been amazing to watch. She leads not only with her voice but by action. She demands from herself what she asks from her teammates. She’s a savant in a lot of ways. Not just a student of the game, but working every day on what she needs to improve while perfecting what she already does well.”

Well, for Bueckers, the expectations are high. And at just 23, she has proved herself quite capable of handling the pressure. While it was a single-handed effort for the Dallas Wings, fans will wait to see how much of a difference she can make with a strong Breeze BC squad by her side.
