While she is receiving all the praise, Carmelo Anthony chipped in and put Candace Parker ahead of the reigning MVP.
The former Los Angeles Sparks forward addressed the comment on her podcast, clearly shrugging off the debate.

Candace Parker Reacts To Comparison With A’ja Wilson
Talking on the ‘7 PM Brooklyn’ podcast, the former Knicks superstar lauded Candace Parker, saying that he personally saw her dominance and skill set, and hence will put the Tennessee star over Wilson. He acknowledged that the 30-year-old star had done amazing work, but sided with CP.
Reacting to the same on her podcast, Parker said, “I don’t get into one on one battles mean I think that’s kind of who cares. I feel like there’s a lot of players that can go out and get buckets on certain guys but they’re not going to be able to do what they did in their career.”
Candace Parker later added, “So I don’t know I mean I think our games are so different, A’ja and I in the way that you know we played and things like that. So who’s going to lace up their shoes and not think that they’re going to win.”
