It takes great courage to laugh at oneself, but Candace Parker can nail that, too.
The WNBA legend-turned-broadcaster, who’s having a busy offseason, has a few punches for her social media fans.
While there wasn’t much happening around the basketball court, Parker got after herself to work on her broken voice. She even went on to compare it to NBA superstar Tyrese Haliburton.
Candace Parker Makes Hilarious Tyrese Haliburton Comparison
Recently, Parker took to Instagram with a playful poll, roasting her own raspy voice by comparing it to NBA star Tyrese Haliburton’s distinctive tone.

She shared a video of herself with a hand playfully covering part of her face, her voice noticeably hoarse. She overlaid a poll with the caption, “DO I SOUND LIKE HALI 😂,” referencing Indiana Pacers guard who’s known for his unique vocal cadence.

However, the options were a simple “Yes” or “No,” tagged with @tyresehaliburton, inviting fans to weigh in.
Funny enough, it would be hard for any day fan of basketball to discover that she’s a legend of the game. Although after a 16-year WNBA career, featuring two MVPs, seven All-Star nods, and three championships with different teams, Parker is transitioning to Prime Video analyst to keep her voice (literally and figuratively) in the spotlight.
Candace Parker To The Hall Of Fame
The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame announced Parker as part of its 2026 class, joining Elena Delle Donne and coach Cheryl Reeve.
Her 16-year WNBA tenure included a 2016 title with the Los Angeles Sparks, a 2021 championship with the Chicago Sky, and a 2022 win with the Las Vegas Aces, plus accolades like Defensive Player of the Year.
Since retiring, she’s thrived as a Prime Video analyst, promoting the game’s growth.
