It’s raining money for the WNBA players following the CBA deal. The WNBA also struck a sponsorship deal with a global brand looking to boost its income during the season. Now the Dallas Wings have also landed a super deal, which is the most lucrative jersey deal in franchise history.
The franchise is already looking to build upon its top players and will welcome as much ‘help’ as possible to build a championship squad. The massive jersey deal is certainly one that the franchise would welcome in clutch time.

Dallas Wings Land Lucrative Jersey Deal
The Texas franchise shook hands with the retail division of CVS Health, which includes a prominent patch on the lower front of the jersey from the 2026 WNBA Season. It also includes traditional in-arena and on-court signage, video features and a digital marketing component.
Following the deal, Greg Bibb, the Wings CEO and Managing Partner, said, “Probably more important than the financial component is the ability to bring a partner with the breadth and depth of a CVS into our world. and to directly impact the community through the collaborative strength of our two organizations, specifically our ability to impact the community through youth basketball and the Junior Wings program.”

The Wings share our commitment to community impact, particularly when it comes to supporting youth sports, advancing women’s health, and expanding access to connect through sport.”

While the franchise is now well backed up, it has an immediate challenge ahead in the WNBA draft.
Dallas Wings With Big Rookie Dilemma
The Dallas Wings secured the first overall pick for the second consecutive year, facing a critical decision between immediate impact and long-term potential in a talent-heavy draft class. While UConn star Paige Bueckers was their cornerstone selection in 2025, the 2026 landscape presents a new frontcourt dilemma.
Analysts are divided between Spanish center Awa Fam and collegiate stars like Azzi Fudd or Lauren Betts. Fam has the highest ceiling, standing 6-foot-4 with elite versatility, but she may require several years of development to reach her full potential. Alternatively, the Wings must weigh whether their roster—which allowed a league-worst 92.1 points per game—needs a more “pro-ready” defensive anchor immediately to complement Arike Ogunbowale. The 2026 WNBA mock draft suggests a shocking pick, but fans will get the definite answer on April 13.
With significant wage increases under the new CBA, the financial stakes for this top pick are higher than ever, making the “Fam vs. Fudd” debate central to the franchise’s trajectory.
