Weeks prior, Reese teased the WNBA world by mentioning that she and Bueckers are coming up with something big. Immediately, the rumors of the two playing for the same team surfaced.
Now, to further fuel the rumors, Reese’s iconic peanut-butter brand began to drop subtle hints. Fans quickly noticed that the Instagram bio read, “The official Instagram Paige of Reese.”

And if the wordplay was not enough, a more prominent clue dropped immediately after. “Their numbers may be 5, but together, this duo’s a solid 10… coming soon.”
Surely, this was a nod to how both athletes wear number 5. Thus, all of these teasers confirmed that the duo is joining forces. But further clarity is still not provided about what the actual venture might be. Meanwhile, as the rumors began to swirl, Bueckers did receive a birthday wish from Reese.
Angel Reese Sent Birthday Wish To Paige Bueckers
Bueckers did a pretty good job for the Dallas Wings this year. Stepping into her debut season, the former UConn Huskies star lived up to her billing of being the No. 1 pick. And despite her not being able to take her team through to the playoffs, the 23-year-old did have some memorable moments.
Compiling the same, Bueckers uploaded a total of 16 pictures on her birthday and wrote, “God didn’t play at all about year 23. Forever Blessed and highly favored. Thank you God!”
Following her post, Reese immediately replied in the comments, “happy birthday pskiiiii.”
Thus, it is evident that Reese and Bueckers have been quite friendly for a long time. And now, with things looking upbeat, fans cannot wait to see what happens next.
