The WWE WarGames finished on a high note, with Seth Rollins’ involvement earning Brock Lesnar’s team victory in the Men’s main event. Women’s main event lived up to the expectations, except for one surprise package who put up an excellent show and shone brightest in WarGames – Lash Legend.
Despite finishing in the losers’ circle, many fans appreciated her performance and even hailed her as the star of the PLE main event. Although WWE fans may be familiar with the 28-year-old wrestler, WNBA fans will also recognize her.

Lash Legend In WNBA
Fans saw NFL Star Bobby Wagner flexing a Seattle Storm jersey before the SNF Showdown with the Seahawks, and even Caitlin Clark’s Nike Kobe V Protro headlining Shedeur Sanders’ latest workout vlog, but there are very few examples of direct crossover between WNBA and other sports, and Lash Legend is one of those examples.
Lash Legend, whose real name is Anriel Howard, attended Mississippi State in her final college year and was the 24th overall pick in the 2019 WNBA draft by the Seattle Storm. Playing in three games for the Storm, she averaged 1.7 points and one rebound per game before the franchise waived her in her very first season.

Although moving to wrestling, the star quickly made a name for herself and participated in many PLE events, including Crown Jewel and the Royal Rumble. But she shone in WarGames, showcasing her abilities in the ring.
Lash Legend With Impressive WWE PLE Main Event Debut
Moving to the SmackDown, Lash Legend was a regular part of the program and impressed everyone with her moves. That consistency earned her a main event debut at WarGames. Despite her limited appearance in the women’s WarGames match, Legend still felt like a big deal out there.

Facing a powerful former champion, Rhea Ripley, was a huge ask, but the star did so with ease until Asuka’s mist took her out. More importantly, she impressed Triple H, the CCO (Chief Content Officer) of the WWE. In the post-event interview, he said, “Absolutely. And [she] will come away from tonight with more confidence than she has ever had and will be more dangerous because of it.”
While the star didn’t find her feet on the basketball court, she is certainly making her mark on the WWE world, in addition to her engagement with another WWE star, Trick Williams.
