DiJonai Carrington Lauds Angel Reese’s Offseason Actions
The 24-year-old forward started making a buzz right around the offseason. Her signature shoe was sold out, while she made her debut in a movie with a cameo role in a Netflix film. While the two-time All-Star lived her dream, another most remarkable event was her ramp walk for Victoria’s Secret.
Reese reflected on her journey from the Burger store to the ramp walk, which would be inspiring for many young athletes. DiJonai Carrington highlighted the same inspiration as she attended a public event. The Lynx forward praised the 2024 rookie for taking a risk and opening new doors for young generations.
“Honestly, 20 years back, nobody even imagined that in 20 years somebody would be walking Victoria’s Secret runway. No, absolutely not. Now, imagine that happening, the girls are now imagining in 20 years, I will be this, this, this and that. That was the risk for Angel to take. She is a basketball player, that’s not all she is, but to walk a runway with millions of people (watching), that’s a risk, but she did it for the next generations,” Carrington said.

Many aspire to be like her, and now there is a new advancement as Angel Reese LLC has officially trademarked her name. Law firm Heitner Legal, P.L.L.C. shared the post, making the announcement.

The law firm confirmed that the trademark was initially filed on March 7 and officially “registered Oct. 28, 2025.” There are no explicit mentions of the use of this new trademark, but the former LSU star found success from her previous trademarks, like ‘MeBound’.
