DiJonai Carrington has been the star ever since she joined the Minnesota Lynx. While the Lynx were already a formidable side, Carrington’s trade proved to be the game-changer. Unfortunately, the Lynx star suffered an ankle injury in the semis. And it became a major reason for Minnesota’s exit from the league. However, now, as the WNBA finals are underway, Carrington came up with a cryptic post.
Carrington has been in a public relationship with NaLyssa Smith. And as Smith’s Aces are ruling the finals at the moment, the Lynx star seems to be pretty much elated.

The WNBA finals are getting pretty one-sided at the moment. With the Mercury trailing by 2-0, Alyssa Thomas sent a bold threat to the Aces. Unfortunately, as Game 3 came to a close, it was Aces once again, walking out with a 90-88 victory. Surely enough, such a showing from the Aces made Carrington happy. That is because her girlfriend, Smith, also plays for the Las Vegas team. However, the 27-year-old took to her X, formerly known as Twitter account, and stated that she badly wanted to have a burner account.

“I need a burner so bad so I can freely tweet my thoughts about this game w/o being called a hater cuzzzzzzzz mannnnn,” Carrington tweeted.

As fans continued to speculate, it remains unclear what exactly Carrington wanted to convey through her burner account. One of the probable reasons for saying so might be how the Minnesota star has faced online hate in the past. She recently made some of the comments public.
