Now, Fenerbahce will shape her as a tough player and instill a winning mentality in her. It will be interesting to see how the Storm will use her in her sophomore season, with multiple players already out of contract and a talented French star, seen as the centrepiece of their future plans.
Dominique Malonga Could Lead Seattle Storm To Glory
In the early games, Head Coach Quinn imposed time restrictions on the 2025 rookie, allowing her to learn from the bench and develop for the WNBA level of gameplay. Slowly, as her involvement improved, the star began putting up steady performances with multiple double-figure scores.
However, her participation gradually improved, and the star began posting consistent scores, with several in double figures.
The 6-foot-6 forward was a force to be reckoned with near the rim, flaunting her blocking and rebounding skills. Furthermore, her rookie year as a Storm player demonstrated her ability to learn, adapt, and grow.
Ticking over at almost nine minutes for the Storm squad, she scored 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per game on the bench at 55.1% field goal percentage. With increased efficiency and defensive capabilities, it will be only a matter of time before the young player takes the championship unit back to the top.
