Following the end of the season, things were expected to calm down. However, that was not the case as the realm was riled up first by the CBA talks, and now by the WNBA draft lottery. With the Dallas Wings landing the win for the 2026 lottery, speculations have run wild.
However, not falling far behind was the Minnesota Lynx. The Lynx, who looked like a champion side until their playoff disaster, will once again look to make some quality contributions next season.
And as they landed the second overall pick, it will be interesting to see who they opt for. But before the draft comes into play, the Lynx will have more things to get excited about. And that is none other than Dorka Juhasz.

Dorka Juhasz Might Be The Trump Card For Minnesota Lynx
Lynx needed young players, and being under the age of 25, Juhasz might just be a perfect fit for the Lynx’s outfit. Incidentally, Juhasz did not play this season. She opted to take the season off to recover from playing a full calendar year previously.
And now, looking at her incredible performance, it appears as if she has made a full recovery. Currently, she is playing in the Turkish league for the Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring Istanbul. Putting up some stunning showings, Juhasz is the second leading scorer in points, after eight EuroLeague games.

With an average of 12.6 points per game, she is also the leader in rebounds with 64 boards so far. Adding further to her five-star season so far, the Lynx’s star has notched up three double-doubles, along with three 20-point performances. Meanwhile, as things are looking rosy for Juhasz, the likes of Cheryl Reeve are looking forward to another dominant season.
Cheryl Reeve Wants To Keep Pushing For The Title As The Likes Of Dorka Juhasz Shine
The Lynx looked pretty much unstoppable in the regular season. Racking up wins one after the other, they qualified for the playoffs, remaining in the first position of the points table.

Unfortunately, the team faltered in the playoffs and had to bow out of the competition. But that is not stopping the head coach, Cheryl Reeve, from keeping her spirits high. With Minnesota clinching the second overall pick and the likes of Juhasz impressing overseas, Reeve wants to push for the fifth WNBA title.
“We are excited to have secured the number two pick in the 2026 draft. This selection will no doubt be an important part of our future as we continue our pursuit of a fifth WNBA Championship,” Reeve said.
