Elle Duncan will be hosting another WNBA broadcasting role following her departure from ESPN, where she hosted the WNBA Countdown.
There has been a major shakeup for the upcoming WNBA season. With the WNBA 2026 schedule out, everyone is now preparing themselves for the mega season, under the new CBA (which is yet to be finalized). And it’s not only the franchises, players, and fans who are getting ready for the season, but broadcasters are now restructuring.
As for major broadcasters, Malika Andrews Nears ESPN’s Top WNBA Hosting Gig after Elle Duncan’s exit. But the famous face of the WNBA broadcasting will still be around, not with ESPN but with another broadcasting network where she would be delivering her expertise for the fans.

Elle Duncan With New Show On WNBA
The 42-year-old commentator left ESPN in December, stepping down from her SportsCenter co-hosting role. Still, she will be covering WNBA pre- and post-game coverage in her new show on USA Network.
The broadcasting giants bagged the broadcasting rights and now add an experienced and respected voice for the coverage too. Duncan had been with ESPN for 10 years. Sports Business Journal reported on Duncan’s hiring.

The USA Network will showcase 50 WNBA games each year. These games will include part of the regular season, the Playoffs, and the WNBA Finals. The focus on Wednesday nights will include pre-game and post-game coverage for double-headers.
Recently, Duncan hit the headlines with her prediction for Cathy Engelbert’s departure following the CBA standoff. Now she will be on the USA network, but before that, she will be on Netflix. The streaming giants will use Duncan’s word craft as the sports commentator will be covering another event from Taiwan.
Elle Duncan To Make Her Netflix Debut Already
Duncan will be live on Netflix on Friday night, hosting Skyscraper Live. The two-hour event, which begins at 8 p.m. Eastern, features free solo climber Alex Honnold’s attempt to scale Taipei 101. It is the tallest building in Taiwan, and Honnold will climb the same without ropes.
“It was everything I had been asking in the universe to help me be a well-rounded broadcaster and to help me be a well-rounded person. I think I’m going to be able to do both of those things here,” Duncan said before leaving for Taiwan.
Elle Duncan’s move from ESPN to Netflix is one of the more interesting recent sports broadcasting transactions, and her Netflix debut is set for Jan. 23 on “Skyscraper Live.”
