Angel Reese might have apologized to her teammates, but that is not stopping the noise to subside. For the uninitiated, the fiasco began with Reese expressing significant discontent with the current Chicago Sky roster. With the team down in the dumps, Chi-Town Barbie pointed out how there was an urgent need of adding quality players to the side. And with the news expectedly going viral, former NFL LB Emmanuel Acho made some wild comparisons.
Reese even stated she might leave the franchise if they didn’t sort things out immediately. Looking at her latest antics, Acho could not help but compare the Sky star with the likes of Kevin Durant and James Harden.
Angel Reese Following James Harden & Kevin Durant‘s Path
Acho recently appeared in an episode of the ‘Speakeasy’ podcast. Discussing Reese’s recent outburst about her teammates, the former NFL star found an interesting chronology. He pointed out that Reese was surely not the only athlete to have acted this way. In fact, more renowned players like Durant and Harden have done the same.

“James Harden did it. If I’m not mistaken, Kevin Durant has done it a couple of times. Even, you know what I mean? Draymond Green went to bed. Kevin Durant saying, ‘Please come over here and play. We can’t win here,” said Acho.
And that was not all. The former NFL linebacker also confirmed that a lot of athletes in the NFL, too, have such a tendency to blame. However, Acho’s co-host, LeSean McCoy, did differ a bit with the retired NFL star. He stated that Reese could have just toned down on her words. Meanwhile, the 23-year-old’s antics have riled up the internet. Ariel Atkins recently had her brutal take on Reese’s comments. What’s more, it also led to the Sky star getting suspended.
