Caitlin Clark is undeniably one of the best players in the WNBA, and anything said against her doesn’t go unnoticed. Clark was ruled out against the Dallas Wings due to a left groin injury. The Indiana Fever has listed their rookie superstar’s status as day-to-day, and it’s unclear if she would play against the Minnesota Lynx.
Despite Clark staying off the court, she’s always found a way to be in the headlines. However, this time it had nothing to do with her performance. Recently, Clark received a disgusting remark from an ESPN host despite being sidelined. He also included Cooper Flagg in his racial diss.
ESPN’s Peter Rosenberg Makes Racial Comment On Caitlin Clark And Cooper Flagg
After the season ended, the NBA draft was the most interesting event for fans. The Oklahoma City Thunder became the champions, but fans were busy keeping an eye out for draft picks. Cooper Flagg was the biggest name during the event, as the Dallas Mavericks selected him as their No.1 overall pick.

Rosenberg made a bold comment on Flagg, justifying why the Mavericks would attract the most attention after signing the small forward. Rosenberg’s comment was racial, and he never hesitated to recruit the Indiana Fever star as well.
“Cooper Flagg is a white guy. Let’s not act as if we don’t live in America and we’re not seeing what’s happening with Caitlin Clark in the WNBA,” Rosenberg said (via Athlon Sports).
Rosenberg’s comment certainly drew mixed reactions, and it didn’t look good for ESPN to make a racial comment. It’s not the first time Clark has been caught up in such bold comments. Many think that the Fever star is favored due to her race. However, Clark has proved that talent is what made her climb the ladder to the WNBA, since her numbers speak for themselves.
