Team USA practice sessions are intense with all eyes on the World Cup championship. Young players are looking to strike chemistry with the veterans, and the whole team is looking to get in sync for the FIBA event. But there could be fun moments like every practice session has. This time, it’s Angel Reese and Jackie Young who combine for an act that surprised many fans.
The Sky forward and the Aces guard form a great connection during the Unrivalled league and also the December training camp. Reese even asked Young to teach her a special skill, juggling, that the champion mastered during the offseason.
The WNBA Fans, though, loved the duo’s act with 6-foot-3 Reese doing a piggyback ride on six-foot Young.

Fans React To Angel Reese’s Piggyback Ride With Jackie Young
Kara Lawson tried to mix and match the team with multiple superstars from different franchises available for selection. Even though the encounter between the sides was very competitive, the players showed great respect for each other and even poked fun at one another during the session.
As the former LSU star was facing the media after the practice session, Young tried to distract her concentration with funny comments. The Sky forward quickly wrapped up the interview and went straight to the Aces’ guard, acknowledging her as best friend, and climbed on her back. Young didn’t move or try to avoid Reese, but rather carried her while answering reporters’ questions.

A fan mentioned, “Maybe they want to the feel the vibe of being the one that can be held up off the ground and carried.”
I notice A LOT of the bigs being picked up in Unrivaled. Kiki getting picked up. Dom on backs. Lol. I guess people don't think about "the other side" as much. Maybe they want to the feel the vibe of being the one that can be held up off the ground and carried. Haha

Angel Reese Gets Real For Team USA Duty
The USA basketball team took a bold step, filling nearly half of the senior team roster with young players. Although rookies had little experience playing outside the USA, they showed their ability on the floor and earned a spot on the Team USA roster, ahead of a few veterans like Sophie Cunningham.
Reese understands the job at hand and shared her feelings on social media as she said, “It’s such an honor to wear my uniform, my jersey. I’m so happy, Just being able to take the women’s basketball everywhere I go worldwide, I’m so excited. It’s an honor to play for USA basketball because there are so many greats who’ve played here and worn the same jersey. So, just continue the footsteps, continue the legacy of what women’s basketball means.”
The Sky forward is a double-double machine in the league and will be instrumental for the USA senior team, also taking care of the paint region.
