The Connecticut Sun are struggling this year in the WNBA. Lingering in the 11th spot, their chances of qualifying for the playoffs are fading with each passing game. With the team facing quite a difficult time both inside and outside of the hardcourt, the gloomy days are not getting over for the team. In a recent report, the franchise is being rumored to be sold for approximately $325 million.
However, with rifts starting to grow between Commissioner Cathy Engelbert and the front office, the Sun ownership is exploring multiple sale paths at the moment. And to further add insult to injury, the Sun stars were humbled by male practice players recently.
Male Practice Players Triumph Over The Connecticut Sun Stars
The Connecticut Sun has some big-name players in its ranks. Tina Charles, Bria Hartley, and others have made quite an impact in the league. However, during a recent practice session, a surprising event unfolded. For the uninitiated, most teams have male practice players to help the WNBA stars sharpen their hooping skills.

Likewise, as the team was having a defensive drill the video of one of the male players went viral. The video started with the athlete looking for a basket. As he was approached by a couple of Sun stars, the athlete showed his skills to get past the defenders quite easily. Next up, while he was attempting to go for the dunk, as many as three Connecticut stars tried to block him.

Unfortunately for the WNBA stars, the male athlete performed a unique skill which left all three defenders wrong-footed as he comfortably tossed the ball inside the rim. Quite expectedly as soon as the video was out, it took the internet by storm.
