Lexie Hull had been the Iron Woman for the Indiana Fever this season. With several of the top athletes sitting out due to injury, it was Hull’s impressive showing that propelled the Indiana Fever towards a semi-final run.
En route, she also suffered quite a few stumbling blocks. Hull addressed the struggle of maintaining peak performance while dealing with health issues. However, despite being a fan favorite, the Fever star recently became embroiled in a major controversy involving DeWanna Bonner.
Lexie Hull Has Some Interesting Comments To Share About DeWanna Bonner
Bonner was a part of the Fever squad initially. However, while she left early on in the season, Hull did not seem to have liked it much. In a recent interview with Glamour Magazine, the Fever star stated that while joining the team, she was pretty much excited to be playing alongside Bonner. She also termed her as someone that she can look up to.

Hull then expressed her honest reaction to Bonner’s exit. She stated that no explanations were provided and that Bonner had left ‘randomly’.
Now then, in another of her statements, Hull spoke about other WNBA athletes being jealous of the Indiana Fever. “I think there is a level of jealousy when it comes to the Fever, just because of the media attention and the fans that have shown up for us ever since Caitlin got here,” Hull said. “We’ve heard people and players and teams talking in their locker room about, ‘We can’t let the Fever win.’”

“Love Lexie…but “We’ve heard people and players and teams talking in their locker room about, ‘We can’t let the Fever win.’” I mean, that’s kind of what competition is right? Not letting the team you’re playin win? 🤷♂️” said a second fan.

“We can’t let the fever win” what else are they supposed to say? That’s how competing goes. I’m sure every team has said that about every other team,” commented a third.
