The March Madness games brought out the best in every player with the national championship on the line. Senior stars look to make the most of the opportunity, putting in extra effort in their final year. While it’s all intense games on the court, there are emotions flowing through them, and LSU star Flau’Jae Johnson experienced the same in a recent fixture.
At the start of the season, Johnson spoke about the extra duty in her final season and already mentioned that she will be pushing for the top draft selection with her numbers. Although the guard still has time to prove herself, she recently played her final game at Pete Maravich Assembly Center, the home of the LSU Tigers, and emotions got the better of her.

Moving on to the Sweet 16, LSU will now take on Duke at Golden 1 Arena in Sacramento. Importantly, Kim Mulkey’s team already defeated the Blue Devils in the season and will look to repeat the feat.
As for the player, a win over Texas Tech put her close to the program’s all-time wins record. Currently, she has won 122 games with the Tigers, while Sylvia Fowles holds the record with 124 wins among Tigers players.
