The WNBA CBA deal is mostly related to the commercial and business part of the game, where fans are still waiting for parties to reach an agreement on a new term. WNBPA sent their counter proposal with a March 10 deadline looming over the discussions. While Caitlin Clark played a huge role in the massive surge that the league is experiencing, she was away from the discussions, giving control to the authorities in the association.
Apart from improving the fan following, TV ratings, and commercial values, the star is impacting the league in many other ways, and in a recent documentary, many WNBA veterans lauded her for the same.

Veterans Praise Caitlin Clark For Uplifting WNBA’s Image
Early in the offseason, when the CBA talks were slowly getting the attention it needed, New York Liberty owner Joe Tsai credited Clark for quadrupling the WNBA viewership and revenue. It was a hint at progress and direction the league should approach for the discussions. But as per Lisa Leslie and Sue Bird, the former Iowa star is also uplifting the ‘image’ of the league.
Lisa Leslie said, “Caitlin, she is a game changer and we have to give her, her flowers because what she has done and the popularity that she alone has brought.” Referencing the ‘Sunday Night Live’ jokes about the WNBA, Sue Bird said, “Now that we finally have crossed over and is no longer the butt of an SNL joke.”

The 24-year-old star’s SNL appearance went viral as she bluntly responded to every joke that SNL made about her with her own jokes, which received huge fan support, too. Though progressing and expanding the league is the primary aim of the WNBA, uplifting its image is also a key aspect, as social media is still giving women’s basketball secondary treatment.

Caitlin Clark Connects With Fashion World
The fashion megacity, Milan, hosted its annual Fashion Week with many designers showcasing their new designs for Winter. Surprisingly, the Fever guard was at the event and caught everyone’s attention.
While CC is not a ‘fashion-savvy’ personality, she was at the front row, with another sports’ emerging star, Eileen Gu. The event is one of the most anticipated events of the fashion calendar, where global celebrities and cultural figures gather for runway presentations from one of the world’s leading designers.
