The WNBA-WNBPA disputes over the Collective Bargaining Agreement are still ongoing, with players having the option of a strike still open. The CBA talks are gaining some traction as players also acknowledged the positive movement towards the conclusion.
Reporter Holly Rowe, who also covered the CBA news in detail, had been updating the status of the meetings and also the possibilities of the discussions. But recently, one mistake embarrassed her as she had to delete the update.

Holly Rowe Deletes Post Following Blunder On WNBA-CBA Update
The veteran reporter had been covering the league for years and saw multiple changes in the league. In her recent appearance on the documentary, she commented on Caitlin Clark’s effect on the WNBA, highlighting her knowledge about the league and expertise on the topics. But the reporter recently went a bit ahead with her reporting and later had to delete the update.
On social media, the ESPN reporter provided details of the CBA discussions, mentioning the salary cap value as $6.2 million and the average salary and supermax contract values, which, per the post, were $850K and $2 million in the sixth year of the CBA Deal. On her official ‘X’ account, her individual update reads, “Update from Day 3 of marathon WNBA CBA negotiations (and month five of intense coverage): I have found, at age 30, my first gray hairs.”
