Chelsea Gray won the Unrivaled 1-on-1 competition, beating a host of talented guards. She praised Allisha Gray for her performance as both players used the three-ball effectively to close out the games. While the vets showcased their experience, efficiency, and control over the ballgame, there is one rookie who is showing similar traits in the NCAA and ready to enter the ‘w’ in 2026 – Olivia Miles.
Playing for TCU and leading them to a 23-4 record, the New Jersey-born star showed huge improvement in every department and had a career-high season just before making it to the WNBA. One striking improvement, though, is her three-point shooting.

Olivia Miles Staking Up For 2026 WNBA Draft
Forgoing the 2025 WNBA draft, the 5-foot-10 guard chose to join the TCU Horned Frogs for her senior year. Four years at Notre Dame earned her huge praise, but her final season with TCU is putting her in the top tier.
In the recent game against Baylor, she dropped 10 three-pointers, setting a record for the highest number by an away team player in the NCAA in the last 25 years. Earlier, her three-point shooting percentages were revolving around 23%. In the 2024-25 season, it moved to 40.6% and now she is shooting around 38% consistently with high volume attempts.

Olivia Miles’ Versatility Makes Her A Perfect Fit
The star will be one of the top picks in the WNBA despite the ambiguity around the first overall pick. The Dallas Wings can also select the TCU maestro, given her playmaking skills that will complement Paige Bueckers, who thrives off the ball. Similarly, the Minnesota Lynx has been searching for a prominent guard to partner with Napheesa Collier and Kayla McBride, taking pressure off Courtney Williams.

The Seattle Storm is building around Dominique Malonga and has its ageing backcourt entering free agency. The 23-year-old would be a perfect fit around the young roster. While Mystics already proved their intentions to use draft picks for the roster build-up and use Miles’ leadership, scoring, and high game IQ to help their two All-Stars excel.
Fifth-place Chicago Sky is aiming for the veteran guard to guide its two-forward gameplay, but can use former Notre Dame star’s range shooting and playmaking to have an edge in the games. Though there are other teams who would love to have a player of her quality on a rookie contract, she won’t be going below fifth-place selection in the 2026 WNBA draft.
