The WNBA stars are finally on the basketball court in a competitive game. While it’s not a traditional 5-on-5 game or WNBA, the Unrivaled league will bring equal excitement and entertainment for the fans.
The addition of players like Paige Bueckers, Veronica Burton, and Cameron Brink has already created a lot of buzz, as the league is ready to start the season with a bang.
Last season’s top performers, such as Alyssa Thomas, gear up for a stronger second Unrivaled Season with a revamped Laces BC roster, but the league will also be looking at younger and new talents to bring in the fans.

Unrivaled Relies On Paige Bueckers And Cameron Brink
The much-anticipated Unrivaled season is underway with the league completing its new rosters and announcing the schedule for its sophomore year. There is already a lot of hype surrounding the teams and new combinations within them. Yet the downside is the absence of Napheesa Collier, Angel Reese, and Satou Sabally.
Each player had an impact on the league and its fan base, which helped the league gain popularity. But to counter their absence, the league will look at fresh faces like Bueckers and Brink. Both players were part of the inaugural season and now have a bigger and active role in the league.

Collier won the MVP, while Reese was the defensive player of the Year winner in the opening season. Both players were vocal about the Unrivaled league and its influence and played a pivotal role in drawing average audiences of 350,000+.
The league received huge backing in its second season, with projections of an even bigger crowd and viewership. So in the absence of those two impactful players, all eyes will be on the Wings’ guard and Sparks’ forward, who uplift their respective WNBA franchises’ performances and popularity. The former UConn star is already a staple on the league’s social media pages.
Interestingly, both stars will represent Breeze BC and look to challenge for the title. Paige Bueckers even hyped up her young side in the Unrivaled league.

The second season of the 3-on-3 league will have two new teams, which emphasizes its growth. Breeze BC is one of those ‘expansion teams’ and will have a young core of Bueckers and Brink.
When the rosters were out, the WNBA 2025 Rookie of the Year Winner was the first to respond with a lot of excitement as she shared a post on social media and wrote, “TEAM YOUNGINS!!!! I know you see the purple too😏 let’s get it Breeze.”
