The Golden State Valkyries underwent a host of changes this season. Looking to get themselves in a commanding position in the league, the franchise added some quality to its side. Likewise, bringing in Iliana Rupert while waiving off Stephanie Talbot. And now, it has taken just four games for Rupert to return the honors.
The Valkyries recently faced off against the Washington Mystics. Helping Golden State register a narrow victory, the 68-67 win might prove to be a big one. Surely, following the game, congratulations came pouring in for the youngster. Surprisingly, Rupert was not ready to join Golden State initially.
