Caitlin Clark was all set for her big season in 2025. But after only playing 13 games, the Indiana Fever star’s season came to a standstill, following a groin injury. Sitting out for the rest of the season, the 2024 Rookie of the Year is finally back.
During her time off, the Fever star has been involved with some exciting activities. Recently, the 24-year-old featured alongside Charles Barkley and Magic Johnson in the March Madness advertisement. Indiana Fever Excited For Caitlin Clark’s National Debut
Playing for one’s own country is the highest honor for an athlete. And as the FIBA World Cup qualifiers approach, the former Iowa Hawkeyes icon is ready to live the moment. Thankfully for the fans, the 2-time WNBA All-Star had made some solid progress in the training camp. Her recent tussle with Kelsey Plum even drew a large-scale reaction from the fans.
Now, ahead of her big return, Indiana Fever ensured that there was no shortage of support. Posting a picture of Clark in Team USA colors on Instagram, they wrote, “New threads, same CC.”
Interestingly, Clark will be donning the number 12 jersey instead of her usual 22. That’s because, according to FIBA’s rules, only numbers from 4-15 are allowed on the jerseys.
