The CBA situation within the WNBA is quite intense at the moment. With the WNBA proposing a 30-day extension on the deadline, the threat of a work stoppage is still looming large.
As per the athletes, they are demanding a fair and increased percentage of revenue sharing. Currently, the WNBA players only get 7-9% in comparison with the NBA’s 49%.
And looking at how the NBA is drawing inspiration from the WNBA, the players’ demands feel pretty much legitimate.
Los Angeles Lakers ‘Stole’ Indiana Fever’s Tres Leches
The NBA season is in full flow at the moment. And while last season’s outing was not up to the mark, the Los Angeles Lakers made sure this time around they come back stronger.

At the moment, the gold and purple brigade seems to be on a roll. Losing only two games, the Lakers have won 5 so far. And that included their recent 130-120 win against the Miami Heat.
Putting on a stellar show, the Lakers trio of Luka Doncic, Austin Reeves, and Jake LaRavia dominated the game with 29, 26, and 25 points, respectively.

Now, looking at the smooth chemistry between Lexie Hull, Caitlin Clark, and Sophie Cunningham, the trio was named tres leches. Much like the sweet and rich combination of the ‘tres leches’ cake, which in Spanish means ‘three milks.’
Cunningham even wore a tres leches custom t-shirt with animations of the Fever trio that instantly went viral. Thus, when the Fever fans saw that the Lakers had ‘stolen’ their meme, they did not sit back quietly.
