This is an incredible feat, especially with Caitlin Clark out of the rotation.
The league and college basketball games also had millions of viewers, with CC’s Iowa or Fever games leading the charts. But the Fever guard was not completely ruled out and was on the sidelines.

The most thrilling series was between the Las Vegas Aces and the Indiana Fever. The five-game series had all the ingredients to attract fans. The Fever fanbase was backing their team while the two-time champion Aces also had MVP A’ja Wilson showing off her footwork and gameplay.
According to the ratings, the series averaged 1.56 million viewers overall, representing an 83% increase from the previous year and making it the most-watched WNBA semifinals ever.

Games 3 and 4 between the two competitors averaged 1.4 million viewers. Game 4, supposedly an elimination game, reached a peak of 2 million views. Game 5 also drew a vast audience, with the overtime game entertaining fans worldwide. It was only the second time in league history that a winner-take-all Game 5 went to overtime. Brianna Turner urges Indiana Fever fans to rally behind the team, and the numbers showed how the fans responded.
Caitlin Clark Thanks Fans For Support
The 2024 rookie was still an attraction in the matchup even though she was out of the game. She was on the sidelines, signing autographs for fans before the games. Several 22-number jerseys demonstrated the significant impact CC has on the fans. Her sideline actions, reactions, and comments also went viral, drawing significant social media attention to the games and indirectly impacting the games.
After the Fever lost in the semi-final, Clack shared a post encouraging the Fever team and also thanked fans for their support throughout the season.
