Fans slammed the Fever front office with Chloe Bibby’s departure in the expansion draft, but the franchise is now looking to bring its stars back for the next season with competitive offers on the table.

Indiana Fever Makes Offer To Lexie Hull
Ahead of the 2026 season, Caitlin Clark spoke about her aim to win the title and added that the franchise’s priority signing will be Kelsey Mitchell. While the reports suggest that GM Amber Cox and co have already taken steps to add Mitchell to the lineup, they are also making efforts for the former Stanford star.
Per the update, the Indiana Fever have issued a core qualifying offer to Kelsey Mitchell and a restricted qualifying offer to Lexie Hull. This decision makes Mitchell a supermax player on the roster in exchange for exclusive negotiating rights and makes Hull a restricted free agent.

It officially gives Mitchell a supermax in exchange for exclusive negotiating rights and makes Hull a restricted free agent.
In the 2025 season, Hull averaged 7.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, all career highs. Moreover, the player played a key role in the playoffs, recording a clutch steal against the Dream. Moreover, her durability during the injury-hit season made her one of Indiana’s most dependable two-way players during the difficult stretch.
