The Indiana Fever’s win over the Las Vegas Aces had much controversy as the visitors pointed out a free-throw discrepancy, especially in the final minutes of the game. Sophie Cunningham defended WNBA Referees, calling them fair in Game 4.
But now an Indiana Fever reporter stepped in with his point and explained the reason for the free-throw difference. Talking about the game, the reporter chooses to address the point to clear the point.
Indiana Fever Reporter Hits Back At Las Vegas Aces’ Claims
In the possible elimination game, the Indiana Fever were more determined and aggressive on offense. While they got the reward for their efforts, the Las Vegas Aces pointed out that the hosts got more free throws in the game.

Incidentally, the game was close until the last three minutes, with three points separating the two teams. While the Fever got 11 free throws in the final minute of the game, this allowed them to secure the victory.
As the Aces complained about the free throws, a Fever reporter, Tony East, explained the reasons for the difference.
“At the time-out, it was 26-14 (fouls) in favor of the Aces. Turns out the Aces take more jumpers, which is good, you just get fewer free throws,” East said in the interview.

Stephanie White Wants More From Indiana Fever Players
Although the 2012 WNBA Champions had the toughest season due to injuries, they navigated the difficult time with remarkable resilience. Winning Game 4 was a similar example of their ability to play as an ‘underdog’ and turn the result in their favor.
HC White was not impressed, though, and asked for more in Game 5. The ‘fourth-quarter fall had been their issue, and they needed to work on the same. Aliyah Boston also warned her teammates ahead of Game 5, saying, “This and more.”
