With the WNBA booming, several athletes have made a prominent name for themselves. And Angel Reese stands right at the top of the list. With her physical play and rivalry with Caitlin Clark, Reese has garnered significant limelight. However, this season has been quite a different kind of ball game for Reese.
Despite the Chicago Sky struggling as a team, Reese has been phenomenal on the court. She has made drastic improvements and also earned selection to the All-Star team. Unfortunately, things seem to be coming to a screeching halt. Following Sky’s recent loss, Reese might face a suspension going forward!
Angel Reese Stares Down A Possible Suspension
Angel Reese came back from injury to face the Minnesota Lynx. Trying to turn the fortunes around, Reese and company wanted to make the game memorable. Unfortunately, things fell flat horribly. With a dominant performance from the Lynx, the Sky was blown out with a 91-68 score line. However, during her first quarter, the 23-year-old received a technical foul. This was the seventh of her season.
One more foul would lead to Reese’s suspension. In reality, she did seem to pick up her eighth tech. While initially it was a normal foul, an off-camera discussion with the officials might have reassessed the play as technical. If that is the case, the Chicago Sky will plummet further into darkness without Reese.

Raising concerns further, Karli Beli also removed Reese from the team sheet for the next game. In her post, Beli stated that Michaela Onyenwere and Ariel Atkins were out due to leg injuries.
