Wilson has been in some stupendous form throughout the season. And much to the delight of the Aces’ fans, she carried her form into the playoffs too. As Wilson shone bright in the 4-0 sweep of the Phoenix Mercury, she is currently getting all sorts of compliments. And the latest on the list came from NBA star Ja Morant.
Wilson had some back-to-back impeccable games. While she scored a game-winning 2-pointer in Game 3, she followed it with a 31-point performance in Game 4. Surely, looking at such a fiery spell of play, Morant was left mightily impressed.
Ja Morant Has A Special Compliment For A’ja Wilson
Looking at the 29-year-old owning the hardwood, the Aces’ head coach already came up with a special compliment. Becky Hammon recently compared Wilson with Michael Jordan and LeBron James. And while this might seem a bit biased, Morant’s recent comments have further carried forward the narrative. In a recent statement, the NBA star declared Wilson as the greatest of all time.

In a recent Instagram post, Wilson shared moments of her recent triumph. As the congratulatory messages continued to pour in, one particular comment stood out. It was from none other than the Memphis Grizzlies’ star, Morant. Looking at how the 29-year-old has won the WNBA MVP, the Finals MVP, and the Defensive Player of the Year in the same season, Morant commented, “Da greatest EVER.”
Surely, this was a historic achievement from the Aces star. After all, no other player has achieved the honor till now. Wilson also led the scores with an average of 23.4 points per game. Meanwhile, Morant is not the only celebrity figure to praise Wilson. She also received a pat on the back from Tom Brady.
