Unrivaled league games are constantly providing surprises, with many stars rising up to the occasion for their teams and knocking the opposition out in the competition. Defending champions missed key players in season 2, but Chelsea Gray stepped up for Rose BC, showing off her dominance in the game, until the side came under Jackie Young’s hammering.
The Laces BC started off steadily in the league but now looks like a contender, with a lineup that includes Alyssa Thomas, Brittney Sykes, and Naz Hillmon alongside Young.

Jackie Young Shines For Laces BC
As the standings are taking shape game by game, every matchup is important now. Many teams started strong with back-to-back wins. Rose BC lived up to its champion status, delivering perfect performances early. But Kelsey Mitchell delivers a breakout 24-point performance, handing the Rose BC its first loss.
Looking to get back on the winning track, the Rose faced another in-form team, Laces BC. Chelsea Grey and Kahleah Copper were clinical on the offensive end, but Young’s 35-point outing was enough for the Laces to take the win. Shooting 13-of-19 from the floor, the guard was efficient from the three-point range and also from the free-throw line.

But, interestingly, her Indiana ties have fueled rumors of a potential move to the Indiana Fever. If the side fails to land Mitchell for any reason, they could even go for the Aces’ versatile guard. With Jackie Young combining with Caitlin Clark’s explosive scoring and Boston’s control over the paint region, the Fever would be a strong contender for the title in the upcoming seasons.
