The Las Vegas Aces are on a roll. After having an impressive regular season, the Aces are now in the playoffs. And they will surely be the favorites to advance to the next round when they face the Seattle Storm in a best-of-three. Now, with the team performing well in general, there is one athlete who needs a special mention. And that is none other than Jackie Young. In a team where A’ja Wilson is looking to earn the MVP award for 4th time, getting noticed surely demands a lot.
Thankfully enough, that is exactly what Young is doing at the moment. Facing off against the Storm recently, the 27-year-old guard had a phenomenal game. And she also inched closer towards a rare WNBA feat.
Jackie Young Makes WNBA History With Her Four Steals
The Las Vegas Aces are looking like a champion outfit at the moment. As they bulldozed past the Storm with a scoreline of 102-77, the team registered its 17th consecutive win this season. And it was because of players like Young that Vegas is finding it relatively easy to glide through the games. The Aces’ guard had yet another impressive game.

She dropped 18 points, five rebounds, and seven assists. And while this effort is already looking top-notch, she also added the cherry on top with four steals. With it, the 27-year-old set a new milestone for herself. With 38 steals to her name, Young now ranks second for the most career postseason steals in franchise history.

Young’s emergence came at a crucial moment for the Aces. With Jewell Lloyd struggling, Young took responsibility and guided the team home. Apart from the 27-year-old star, Wilson, too, was at her usual best. She dropped 29 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and a couple of blocks to lead the team to a scintillating victory. This will come as a welcome boost after Wilson was inducted into the South Carolina Gamecocks Hall of Fame recently. Meanwhile, coming back to Young, she recently edged past Kelsey Plum.
