Wilson has always been known to be someone who does not sugarcoat her opinions. But this time around, her sudden, unfiltered response shocked even her teammate, Chelsea Gray. Immediately after listening to the comment, Gray foreshadowed that it would go viral soon. That is precisely what happened when Brunson decided to comment on the matter.
Jalen Brunson Makes His Feelings Known About A’ja Wilson’s Viral Comment
Wilson is turning up the heat once again. As the season kicked off, the 29-year-old delivered some impressive performances. However, mid-way, she did have to struggle a bit with her form. Thankfully, the WNBA star seems to have found her form once again for both Wilson and the Aces. Playing against the Mercury, she finished with 30 points. But that was not all. The 2023 WNBA Finals MVP also chipped in with 16 rebounds.
Speaking after the game, A’ja Wilson stated that she wants the game to come to her. Wilson also noted that forcing to do so will not yield any fruitful results. But in doing so, the 2x WNBA champion gave a ‘fart’ reference and said, “It’s like forcing a fart. All you get is [expletive],“ (as quoted by USAToday) that took the hooping realm by surprise.
Commenting on the matter, Jalen Brunson shared her quote on his Instagram story and wrote: “This is top 5.”
Surely, this was a hilarious reaction from the Knicks’ star. However, Brunson did not shed light on whether this was a top 5 sports quote or if it was confined within the basketball community. Nonetheless, such a sudden analogy was least expected after such a dominant game. And while the entire realm is abuzz with her viral reaction, Wilson was recently a part of WNBA history.

A’ja Wilson Made History With A Stellar Performance Against The Connecticut Sun
Led by Wilson, the Aces have now won six back-to-back games. This will surely enable the team to make a push for the playoffs. And while the Aces would look to continue with their fine form against the Dallas Wings, Wilson is putting up some MVP numbers. For example, in the game against the Sun, the Aces won 94-86. But the superstar forward scored 32 points along with 20 rebounds. And such numbers made Wilson the first player to record a 30-20 game in the league.
