Paige Bueckers has been making some serious ripples in the WNBA realm. Making her debut this year, the 23-year-old ensured that everybody took note of her incredible play. Following her incredible season, Bueckers recently opened up on family tradition, favorite dishes, and more.
However, with yet another season coming up, the Dallas Wings will finally be looking to establish their footing. And after struggling with a 10-34 record last year, coach Jose Fernandez shared some interesting titbits about Bueckers.

Jose Fernandez Hails Paige Bueckers As ‘Very Good’
Fernandez has taken over the reigns of the Dallas Wings. And he is not wasting any time. Instead, Fernandez is trying hard to figure out the possible loopholes and not repeat the mistakes the team committed last year. Now, while planning for the next season, one name that surely comes to mind is that of Bueckers.
After all, following the stellar performance last year, it is pretty normal that the team would revolve around the Rookie of the year this year. Recently, speaking about the plan, Fernandez told Khristina Williams on the ‘In Case You Missed It’ podcast, “Paige is a very good basketball player. She’s one of the faces of the league and the future of the WNBA and also USA basketball. She wants to be coached. She wants to win. So, that’s plain and simple.”
Surely, looking at Bueckers’ record last year, it is evident that she is a special talent. Otherwise, it is not normal for a rookie star to drop averages of 19.2 points with 5.4 assists per game. Meanwhile, as the Wings’ star is evolving in her journey, Bueckers recently gave a heartfelt shoutout to the class of 2020.

Paige Bueckers Goes Gaga Over The Class Of 2020
Recently, Bueckers had one of her dreams come true when she was called to the Team USA training camp. And while this made her feel elated, PB also realized that she, along with the likes of Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, who belong to the class of 2020, has made it big in their career.

Excited about the same, Bueckers said, “I mean, you guys know about the nickname. We coined ourselves young and turnt class, but really we’re just, we play with the chip on our shoulder. I feel like we have that edge to us.
