The ‘Reese-bloodline’ did it again. As much as Angel Reese shone in her first season with the Chicago Sky franchise, Julian Reese also made huge improvements with a chance handed to him by the Washington Wizards.
In his third game, only the player recorded a massive double-double with 18 points and 20 rebounds against the Utah Jazz. Even though the Wizards’ side lost the game, the big winner on the floor was the former Maryland star.
The Sky forward already brought brother Julian’s jersey, showing her support and love for the star; the Wizards’ new star also showed his affection towards his sister.

Julian Reese Shows Love For Angel Reese
The 22-year-old has been on a roll ever since he signed for the Wizards. Starting all three games so far, he is averaging 9.7 points and 10.7 rebounds per game while playing at least 28 minutes in each contest. His top performance was against the Jazz, and in the post-game interview, he opened up on his sister’s influence on his game.
“She hits me up before and after every game just telling me what I need to do. Watches the game, tries to text me at halftime…sometimes I got to get her off me a little bit just try to tell her let me do what I do,” the Wizards youngster said.

“It’s just great having a sister like that’s always on me and just trying to see the best for her brother especially while she’s busy doing stuff that she’s doing. Love her to death,” he added.
AR5 always pushed her brother for better performances and showed up at his college games, too. His output with the Washington side is certainly encouraging. As for the Chi-Town Barbie, the player is finding time to attend her brother’s games; she will be in focus for the upcoming international games.
Angel Reese Needs To Step Up For Team USA In World Cup Qualifiers
11-time champions Team USA will enter the 2026 World Cup via qualification games starting on March 11. Even though the team has won the last four World Cups, the current team is completely different, with multiple young faces on the roster.
Fans are excited to see Reese playing alongside Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers. The player will have additional responsibility, especially with Aliyah Boston’s injury, keeping the Fever forward out of rotation.

The team also replaced Sonia Citron, adding Rae Burrell and Monique Billings to the lineup. Yet, Reese will be the natural first choice for the coaches to take AB’s place, given the fact that both players thrive on the defensive end and even won Unrivaled Defensive Player of the Year awards.
