‘Separated by WNBA teams, united by Iowa love’ is the case for the former Hawkeyes duo Kate Martin and Caitlin Clark. Earlier in the week, Martin shared a lighthearted moment on TikTok after randomly pulling Clark’s trading card. The Valkyries’ star’s reaction went viral as she was shocked by the unexpected moment.
Now she was facing rapid-fire questions where she once again showed her love for the Fever star as she took her name as her favorite Kate. The video once again went viral as fans showered love on the duo.

The offseason goals are different for different players, where the Fever playmaker is working on her fitness, while many others are spending time with their loved ones and working on their game. The Golden State Valkyries’ guard, Martin, made a few videos where she interacted with fans and even completed some activities.

In a recent video, the 23-year-old answered a few questions in a rapid-fire round where she answered about her favorite Kate, other than herself. The player, without any hesitation, took the name of her best friend, Caitlin Clark.

Both players spent four seasons together at Iowa, leading the side to back-to-back NACC finals and Conference titles, too. The former Aces star player even answered questions related to her favorite side of campus, jersey, coffee joint, and restaurant around Iowa.

The Iowa star finished her college career as the all-time leading scorer. She averaged 26.7 points in her rookie season, which surged to 31.7 points per game.
