Kate Martin Re-Signs With Unrivaled For Season 2
Martin is all set to play for the Unrivaled League after the 2025 season. A few players are nursing their complex and critical injuries, while a few are enjoying the off-season following hard work in the past five months. But a few elite and esteemed stars are ready to enter the new three-on-three league.

After just one year, the league has found huge success in its opening season and is looking to cash in on its popularity. Recently, Unrivaled Women’s Basketball League boosted its valuation to $340M after securing $50 million in its latest funding round and confirmed its next schedule, starting from January 5, 2026.
With confirmation of dates and team, a few WNBA players are also rejoining the league, and one of the big names is the Golden State Valkyries’ Kate Martin. The league announced her participation via social media.
“It’s fun because it’s three on three and it’s meant to be fun. This is meant to really enjoy the time with your teammates. You don’t play with these people in the WNBA season, so it makes it really fun getting to know everybody. Also, because it’s so fun just going out there and playing free, and that, that’ll do wonders for a basketball player and any athlete, being able to go out there and play free,” Martin said about the Unrivaled.
