With the CBA agreement going awry, the WNBA currently appears to be in disarray. As the players are unhappy about getting the housing cuts, things are not looking good for the future.
However, despite all the dark clouds of negativity, the WNBA franchises are hoping for the good old days to come back soon. And one such franchise is the Indiana Fever. This year, with almost half of their primary athletes out of action, the team delivered a strong performance to reach the semifinals.
Now, as Fever try to sort out their 2026 draft picks, president Kelly Krauskopf looks extremely happy. And she even dropped a reference to the Colts and the Pacers.

Kelly Krauskopf Hopes For Indiana Fever To Create Its Own Legacy
The Indiana Colts and the Pacers are two of the biggest names in the NFL and the NBA, respectively. And now, with the likes of Caitlin Clark raising Fever’s stakes significantly, President Krauskopf has shared a big dream of hers.
“(I want the Fever) to beat that 12-year playoff record, to become a generational franchise that kids grow up and talk about, like they did with the Colts or Pacers,” Krauskopf said. “That they remember their first game, and they’ve got their first ticket or their first hat.”

Well, the Fever president has a point here. With the stadiums witnessing full-house crowds and a boom in Fever merchandise sales, things are indeed looking quite rosy for the team. And surely enough, when talking about business, the name of Clark will inevitably come up. After all, she has been the driving force behind the latest WNBA boom.
Kelly Krauskopf Acknowledges Caitlin Clark’s Contribution In The WNBA
The emergence of Clark came with a lot of buzz. And sure enough, the Iowa Hawkeyes star didn’t disappoint. From the moment she stepped foot on the court, Clark’s incredible performance on the hardwood and her presence off it have drawn a lot of attention to the league.
And the Fever president was not shy in admitting the same. “Let’s be honest. Caitlin Clark is the explosion of the WNBA. The lift has come with her arrival,” Krauskopf said. “It always takes one or two players to take that next lift. And for us and for the league, it’s been Caitlin and the fan base that she’s brought.”
