In the fight for the second spot and probably early playoff qualification, the Phantom BC stunned the Mist BC in a fourth-quarter tussle. Natasha Cloud hit the game-winner, defeating her Liberty teammate Breanna Stewart in the game. The Unrivaled power ranking showed Phantom BC as the clear favorites in the game.
From the run of play, the shot looked set for Kelsey Plum, but the former Mystics star surprised everyone with her play. Plum also reacted to the game winner in the postgame interview, giving a typical Plum response to the question.

Kelsey Plum Lauded Natasha Cloud For Game Winner
The Phantom BC started off strong in the game against the Mist BC, matching the contenders’ possession to possession. They pulled away in the second and third quarter, making it difficult for Stewart and Co to catch up.
When the Cloud hit the game winner, every Phantom player celebrated the three-pointer, but Plum saw the shot differently as she said in the post-game interview, “That last possession she waved me off. I said ‘Yes Ma’am’.”

The Sparks star has been Phantom’s game winner so far in the league, netting three decisive shots in their seven wins. It was obvious to see her surprised by Cloud’s actions.

On the ‘W’ side, though, there are no surprises. Players are still showing unity against the league, with Cloud once again warning the league over CBA discussions. She has already voiced her support for the Unrivaled’s expansion, showing love to the 3-on-3 league.
Natasha Cloud With Strong Warning To WNBA Over CBA Proposal
With the time ticking away, the WNBA faces a challenge to get the CBA in place well before the 2026 season. The league held a face-to-face meeting with the players’ representatives to discuss the topic. Ahead of the meet, the guard sent a warning to the league about the players’ stance.
“We are standing firm in our feet and 10 toes down, there is a reason, and we will not move until y’all move. So I’m gonna look directly into the camera too, but we will not (expletive) move until y’all move,” Cloud said.
A reporter (sorry don’t know who) asked Natasha Cloud if she was worried about the lack of a CBA once February 1 rolled around.

The league sent a proposal as discussed in the meeting, and now it’s up to the WNBPA to make the final call on the same.
