The Unrivaled season semifinals had all the elements to it – the crowd support, top quality basketball, high intensity games, and some clutch plays. The player who thrives in such an environment is Kelsey Plum, and she did what she does best – hitting a game-winner to send her side into the final.
As Phantom BC advances to Unrivaled finals against Mist BC in front of the sold-out Barclays Center fans, the Sparks star had a special message for the spectators.

Kelsey Plum Jokes About Barclays Center Fans’ Support
The phantom BC entered the game as the top seed I the regular season and delivered a performance living up to its standings. The team missed its ‘go-to player’, Aliyah Boston, due to a season-ending injury, but the two-time WNBA champions delivered in key moments to snatch the win with her fifth three-pointer in the game.
While in the on-court interview, she lauded her team for their gutsy performances and a win without AB, she jokingly addressed the fans and said, “Brooklyn, thank you so much. Usually you boo me, so I really appreciate the love. This is just an amazing environment.”

Although this was all said in light moments and fans also loved her ‘witty’ nature, the player became serious when it came to the CBA discussions with the league.
Kelsey Plum Gives Honest Opinion On CBA Talks
The former vice president of the WNBPA was under fire for missing the face-to-face meeting with the league a month ago. Since then, there have been multiple discussions, but the player sees little progress towards a conclusion.
In the recent post-game interview, Plum said, “I want to play, and players want to play. And so obviously we’re going to continue to negotiate and do everything we possibly can to get this done in a timely fashion. But obviously a strike would be the worst thing for both sides, because we are in a revenue [sharing system], so no revenue, no revenue to share.”

“You can continue to negotiate without striking. I’ve always been someone that’s focused on the gain, not the gap. And to be honest, I think if you look at where we’ve come from, shoot, since I came into the league until now, and now that we’re in a revenue share, it’s a tremendous win,” Plum added.
The player remained firm on getting the deal on WNBPA’s terms and added that they will not settle for less.
